 Corona Virus Update

In times like this, we need to:

1. Live by faith, not in fear.

2. Up and observe our hygiene practices. Wash your hands with soap and water more often for at least 20 seconds, be careful of what you touch in the public, take off your fingers from your mouth, nose, and eyes, keep your distance from others as much as possible particularly when they show flu symptoms, etc

3. Take your vaccine. There is nothing ungodly or Anti-Christ about the vaccine. The Senior Pastor is vaccinated.

4. It is still advisable that if you are coughing or have a fever, please self-isolate until it clears so as to fulfill all righteousness.

5. Further guidance will be given on the WhatsApp Church Member Group.

Deut 7:9 (NKJV) “Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand    generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments;”

Moses, the Man of God, had encountered God right from the point when God called him at the burning bush all the way to the point of God assuring and re-assuring Moses that He would be with him on the assignment of delivering the Israelites from Egypt. The assignment was a tall order for Moses, He was afraid of Pharaoh as much as he was afraid of the people of Israel. Moses asked the Lord, ‘if they ask me who send you, what would I say? The Lord simply  addressed Moses heart and concern in Exodus 3:14 (NKJV) “And God said unto Moses, I Am That I Am: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me unto you.” I’m sure Moses got the message in the response of God. I am the faithful God that you can depend on, I am the Holy One who cannot lie (Numbers 23:19), I am the Lord of Hosts that all gates must be lifted for, and everlasting doors must be opened unto. Moses understood that God that was sending him on errand is the great ‘I Am’ the only One and the Holy One with whom nothing shall be impossible - Luke 1:37. So Moses, to get the Israelites out of Egypt will not be impossible for me. You just be my representative and I will be your God. Moses got the message many Israelites (really many of us today) found difficult to understand about God. So Moses gathered the Israelites and told them in our text ‘Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy...’ Brethren, make sure you know this truth that our God is faithful. He does not only keep covenant, He keeps mercy also.

But what happens if Israel and even some of us refuse to believe God is faithful? The answer is in Romans 3:3 (NKJV) “For what if some did not believe? Will their unbelief make the faithfulness of God without effect?” If you chose not to believe, it doesn’t change God. Our God will remain faithful. Malachi 3:6, the ‘I Am’ said “For I am the Lord, I change not; ...’
